We are chuffed to bits to say that after only our second GTBS inspection they awarded us GOLD (89%). We put a lot into minimising our impact on the environment and spent a few pennies to achieve it too.

Christmas in the Country House

We have made the very most of the 3 days of the year that we are closed and had a fabulous Christmas in Victorian Splendour. Fire lit, Carols playing, and most importantly the kids running around and loving it. Now we are tidied up and ready for New year.

Our very good friends and professional double rosette awarding chef, aka ‘Cheffy P’, are visiting. We will indulge in menu development, learning new skills/dishes, and tucking into 20+ different courses to taste……yummmmmmmmy

We have just had out GTBS follow-up inspection and it is looking hopeful that our Silver GTBS will soon be a Gold! We have worked very hard on sustainable tourism and look forward to the all round rewards.
